In yesterday’s Pokemon Direct, Game Freak announced Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver would be coming to virtual console on the Nintendo 3DS. It will be the same as the Gameboy game with compatibility with the Pokemon Bank App, as well as the wireless trading the Generation 1 Virtual Console games had.
The re-releases will be available on the Nintendo eShop on Sept. 22. The trailer for the annoncement is above.
