You know the more I read on any random web site or social outlet I find more and more people bitching about one of the dumbest things in the world to bitch about. The common bitch always seems to be pricing on the Xbox 360. Especially since Game Room dropped.
Ok, I understand that a lot of people are angry that LIVE is not free and PSN as well as the Wii’s online service is free. To begin with it breaks down to being $4 dollars a month…roughly. You are paying that for a service that has consistently gotten better over it’s life span. Granted there have been upgrades to both the PSN and the Wii, but nothing as extensive as LIVE. Then the Avatar Market Place went live and that was a whole different thing for people to bitch and whine about.
The odd thing about the Avatar pricing is that people complained for a little bit and then one day I just started to notice that people had started buying avatar gear. Once again though if you go to pretty much any gaming site that is one of the main complaints with people while they are bitching about MS. Now, last week the Game Room went live on the 360. To be honest I was a little hesitant to even download the free Game Room, much less pay anything for retro games. Now that I have played with it and seen how much fun it can be I think that it is completely worth every penny you can put into it. That’s where the complaints start again. People are saying it’s a rip off to have to pay .50 cents to play when back in the day it was a quarter. Or $3 for a game that is 20 years old is a rip off. Well, I think that now is a good time to throw my very offensive rant into the mix.
Shut the FUCK up and just keep your hypocritical opinions to your self. That’s right I said hypocritical! You never really heard any of the bull shit when people where paying real fucking money for virtual houses, furniture and cloths in PlayStation HOME. Or when buying a Dynamic theme for your Ps3.Or how about the Wii and it’s Virtual console. That my friends is a rip off. When you buy one of the overpriced Virtual Console games or Wii Ware game you better pray to your God that your Wii stays healthy. Because if it don’t you’re not getting it back.
So to all these douche bags who think that Avatar gear or the Game Room is a rip off. You are ALL WRONG! Every console is a rip off if you look at it from that point of view. All three have something for you to buy that is ultimately a waste of money and time, but we still buy and lots of people still bitch. If you don’t want o spend three dollars here or five dollars here the DON’T! Just don’t continue to complain and cry that it’s all a rip off. At some point these people just need to realize that MS points, PSN credit and Wii points are the way of gamings future. Then I wonder what they will say?
