That’s right in the new Star Wars game coming from BioWare you can be a smuggler. In an interview with James Ohlem he confirms that you can pick a smuggler class in Star Wars:The Old Republic. Here is a what he said.
“Ord Mantell is a war-torn world and it’s where the Smuggler starts off, when his ship gets stolen. He’s pretty angry; imagine what Han Solo would’ve been like if the Millennium Falcon got taken.”
