The somewhat controversial re-imagining of Dead Rising 2 has been given a release date of October 11th for North America, and October 14th for Europe.
The game is practically Dead Rising 2, but from Frank’s point of view, and a new area thrown in. However Capcom assures us that it’s much more than that, as it fixes many of the bugs with DR2, as well as adding a highly requested checkpoint based saving system to the game. Also, it will be released at the modest price of $40 (£30), so it’s well worth picking up if you’re a fan of the series, or haven’t played DR2, and have been waiting for this more complete version.
