Gears of War 3 Joins the ‘Season Pass’ Club

In now common tradition, Gears of War 3 is the next of many games to giving players the opportunity to save on coming DLC packs. Released alongside Gears of War 3 on the 20th of September, players will be able to buy the pass for the large sum of 2400 Microsoft Points ($30), and it is guaranteed to save you 33% on buying each separately.

Bearing resemblance to Mortal Kombat’s season pass over anything else, your purchase will allow you access to four DLC packs released for Gears 3 in the months after release, with the first pack coming in November. As an added bonus, buyers will also get the ‘Liquid Metal’ skin for all five standard guns, a skin previously boasted to be exclusive to Epic employees.

So, what are your thoughts? Will you be buying the pass come release?
