Pocket Rumble is an 8-bit inspired 2-d fighting game that was announced as an indie game coming to Switch in the initial launch trailer. Originally, this game was scheduled for a March 2017 release, but it has yet to make it’s appearance one the E-Shop. I hadn’t heard any word from Nintendo, the Developer Cardboard Robot Games, or any other news outlet. So, I did a little digging.
Cardboard Robot Games doesn’t have an official website, and the Nintendo listing for the game on Nintendo’s website just says the release date is ‘TBD’. The only place I found any answers was the official Twitter page for the game. Where this was said:
We're currently unable to comment on the release date of Pocket Rumble.
As soon as that changes we can and will post more info.

The developers went on to say in a reply to another user:
@Jody27JR Releasing on Switch any time before Spring is over.

@Squirrelisious @SingerJWhite June 20th is the last day of the release window we're aiming for. It will be out as soon as it's ready.

This is sad news for anyone looking forward to the game, but the developers have said it will be out when it is ready. At least the game is still coming! The game is out on Steam already in Early Access. Still excited for the game? Let us know in the comments!
