New ‘The Gunstringer’ Screenshots and info as it Moves to Retail Release

Twisted Pixel’s new Kinect game: ‘The Gunstringer’ has recently been changed from an XBLA title, to a full retail release. This came about after the game was shown to some “pretty important people” and they loved it so much they “wanted to give it bigger exposure”. This will be Twisted Pixel’s first retail release, and so we’re bound to expect more content than any of their games so far.

On the show floor at E3, Twisted Pixel showed off a few new gameplay features too: dual-gun shootdowns, sidescrolling action, which looks quite similar to the amazing Comic Jumper, and a sequence where you are taken into Gunstringer’s past, in his flesh and blood form. And also revealed a new ‘Play’ called the: “The Big Easy Reckoning” , set in the Southern Bayou.

Alongside the press release, Twisted Pixel released 3 new screenshots of the game, as well as an advert, and a placeholder for the box art. You can view all of these below:
