Saints Row’s focus on gang culture wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but now, with Saint’s Row the Third, Volition are clearly out to change thinks. First with their crazy over-the-top-ness, and now with the introduction of a new main enemy in the game; The Deckers. The Deckers are elite cyber criminals, hackers, and online gamers. So basically, you and me.
Their story begins with them cleaning out The Saint’s bank accounts in a cyber-attack, provoking The Saints into an attack, but not a simple gun fight, this is on their own turf. With the help of the all-new Saint Kinzie Kensington, an ex-intelligence agent, the Saints attempt to hack into the Deckers’ systems and take down  their network… permanently.
Inside the network, the game gets a whole new aesthetic, a sort of retro-tron world, which looks crazy-awesome. However, the self-proclaimed virtual God, and leader of the Deckers Matt Miller is capable of doing pretty much whatever he wills: creating ‘firewalls’, altering physics, and incarnating himself into a fucking tron-demon.Â
This section of the game is sure to make for very interesting gameplay, and is no-doubt full of Saint’s Rows usual hilarious quips. Have a watch of the trailer below, and feel its nerdy charm.
