Welcome, welcome. This is a little experiment I am working on. I hope it goes well. Imagine if you will, taking our favorite games, as well as the current world stage, and combining them. Wondering what exactly I am getting at here? So am I.
Here’s an example of what I mean. The upcoming Presidential Election where we decide if we want one Sen. Obama or one Sen. McCain to run our country (Or Sen. Biden vs. Gov. Palin depending on your views). So that’s the world stage part. Now add in a dash of video games. Let’s pick a game. For this example I am going to use Chromehounds for the Xbox 360. Now then, for the sake of potential awesomeness I will decide to ignore the fact that Chromehounds lets you vote for your nations leader (it does). So how exactly would a Presidential Election work in the Chromehounds world, utilizing game mechanics?
That is what I am going to try and accomplish with “This World of Ours”. I will be creating a topic in the ‘Site Suggestions’ section of the forums, which can be found by following the link at the top of the page. This topic will be a history of what I have done in TWoO as well as a suggestion box for what you want to see. Submit an event, a game, or both. Let’s see what we can do as a crazy team.
