Split Second is another Racer coming out this year.  If you look at this game and Blur you will say they look almost exactly the same, but nope they aren’t.  Blur is a totally different game.  But anyway moving on.  Here is what I think of the demo.  Okay, the controls are easy to pick up and play, right trigger accelerates,while the left is brake and the a and b buttons are what you will use to trigger the power-plays.  More on those later.  When i started up this demo up I thought I was gonna have a fun time but, NOPE i didn’t!  This game game is way too simplistic and doesnt have anything that can grab your attention.  Sure there are explosions and everything but C’mon man.  Make the game FUN damnt!  The objective of the game is to drift, jump and draft behind opponents to fill up your power bar.  When you see the icons over the other cars, a power play is ready.  Use power plays to wreck opponents and win the race.  I know this is just a demo and not the full retail game.  But this is no way to hype up your game.  After playing a couple races I still have come to the conclusion that this demo SUCKED!  Blur blows this game out the water.  That is all.
